A local couple has been reported missing, prompting a Silver Alert to be issued.

According to the Connecticut State Police, husband and wife of Seymour, CT, 89-year-old Charles Payne and 87-year-old Rosemarie Payne have been missing since Monday.

Police say it is possible that the couple is traveling in a red 1993 Chevy pickup truck with an unknown Florida license plate.

Charles Payne is described as having gray hair and blue eyes, standing at about 5'6'' and weighing about 160 pounds.

Rosemarie Payne has gray hair and brown eyes, and stands about 5'10'', weighing around 164 pounds.

Charles was reportedly last seen wearing a pullover sweatshirt, a tan vest and black pants, while Rosemarie was wearing a blue denim shirt with flower print and blue jeans.

According to 211ct.org, a Silver Alert in Connecticut can pertain to a missing child under 18 years old, a missing person between 18 and 65 years old who has mental health issues or someone who is over 65.
