How can you know if your Facebook data was shared with Cambridge Analytica? Well, finally, Facebook is giving us what we need to figure that out.

Here is a link from CNET that can help you check to see if you’ve been affected. As far as my personal results, it said that I had not logged onto the specific app, which is responsible for the breach, which would have exposed my information. The app is called: “This Is Your Digital Life”.

However, it did point out that one of my friends had logged on to it, so everything in my "Public Profile" was shared. My "Public Profile" includes my page likes, my birthday, and my current city. I also got this advisory regarding my personal Facebook info:

A small number of people who logged into 'This Is Your Digital Life' also shared their own News Feed, timeline, posts and messages which may have included posts and messages from you. They may also have shared your hometown.

To find out if you've been affected, click the link for this Facebook support page and proceed to your account. Head to the "Was My Information Shared?" page, and there give you an answer right there.
