Here comes the rain again, but what gets most of us now is that crazy wind. While The National Weather Service is predicting that we will probably not get hit with severe thunderstorms today, they're saying that the wind and the air quality could be an issue.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and an Air Quality Alert for several areas, including ours. This is what they are saying:

Today and tonight: There is a very low chance for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and ealy this evening. The main threat is from damaging wind gusts.

Air Quality Alert remains in effect until 11 PM EDT this evening.

I think that we are still all a bit shell-shocked since May 15, 2018. That was the day we all found out what a "macroburst" was. While nothing like that is in the weather forecast, I know that I get a little more concerned than I used to when a storm is approaching.
