New Milford Candlewood Lake Home Is Scratching Me Right Where I Itch
I was just daydreaming and scrolling through local properties on realtor.com, and I came across this gem. Coldwell Banker has the listing and the agent is Barbara Sivba. I may have to reach out to Barb and inquire more about this dream home on Candlewood Lake. The description goes like this:
"Iconic Stone & Cedar Waterfront, in sought after Candlewood Lake Club, offers incredible western exposure w/expansive lake views, exceptional updates quality finishes creating an authentic lake home design. A vaulted great room framed by beams, stone fireplace & hardwood floors opens to a renovated kitchen w/off white cabinetry, quartz counters, stainless appliances and island bar. The circular dining area occupies one of 2 stone turrets surrounded by windows & lake views."
Words are great and all, I love words, but you know what they say about a picture. I wonder if those thousand words per picture will count toward my minimum word count in this blog? Check out this pad:
If I owned this home, this would be the view I would take in most often. I'd pull my boat just off the dock, anchor, stare back at the home, sip some friggin' Schnapps and congratulate myself on a life well lived.
Here's another dandy. Is this what they refer to as the "Great Room?" That would make sense, because this room is indeed great.
Here we have a "Knights of the Round table" thing going on. You can eat giant turkey legs and look out over your kingdom.
This elegant beast of a home even features a bar that is nicer than bars I PAY to go to. Well done on that one.
Here is a kick ass office where I would likely buy and sell stock and occasionally fire people who work for me.
I'd call this "Schnapps Station #2." Pull up a chair, I have two and get to sippin'.
Here is a beautiful patio for doing patio things.
Covered garage? Golf Cart? Check and check.
This house is simply "DOPE A.F." I gotta get moving on these business deals, free up some cheddar and get cozy. Hey Barbara! You are welcome.
