With a record 180,722 total votes, the New Milford Green Wave held off the Danbury Hatters to win our Best High School Marching Band in Greater Danbury Contest.

It was an epic battle between two powerhouse Marching Bands, the New Milford Green Wave and the Danbury Hatters, but when the voting ended, the New Milford Green Wave came out on top.

With the win, the Green Wave will get a "Best High School Marching Band" trophy from Crown Trophies in Brookfield, and our digital team will be heading to New Milford to record a special video with the band, which we'll feature here on our website.

Here are the final vote totals (Top 4 Schools only)

  1. New Milford Green Wave  81,427
  2. Danbury Hatters  77,462
  3. Bethel Wildcats  14,704
  4. Newtown Nighthawks  5,619

Congratulations to the New Milford Green Wave and Band Director, David Syzdek.
