New Milford Teen Found Safe, Silver Alert Cancelled
We would just like to let the concerned public know that the recent Silver Alert that was issued for a missing New Milford teen has been cancelled.
Police say 15-year-old Olivia Schultz of New Milford was found safe on Monday night, December 9, and is reportedly back home with her family.
Police initially issued the silver alert on Sunday, December 8, when the loca teen was reported missing and was considered to be potentially "endangered."
Typically, a Silver Alert is issued when a person of any age goes missing. The law mandates that law enforcement officials must begin their search immediately once the alert is issued, according to 211ct.org.
