Pedestrian Killed in Hit-And-Run on I-84 in Danbury
Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help regarding a fatal hit-and-run accident early Saturday morning (April 7) on Interstate 84 in Danbury.
According to a press release, State Troopers received a 911 call about 1:00 AM Saturday, reporting a person in the roadway on I-84 Westbound just before Exit 2.
Upon arrival, police found a Jeep Cherokee on the shoulder of the road, and a person deceased. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Daniel Crawford, Jr. of Brewster, NY. The other vehicle involved in the accident did not remain at the scene.
