Curiosity led to a major arrest on Friday night.

According to Newstimes.com a Danbury man was placed in custody after police responded to several calls complaining of suspicious activity in a parked car on Boat Road.

When police arrived on the scene, they approached the car and found two people sitting inside. One was 22-year-old Lenny Almonte who is wanted on a string of charges from car accidents to drugs. One of the charges is from a hit and run car accident from last October where he allegedly fled the scene. Almonte was also being sought for several drug charges including distribution of a controlled substance less than 1,500 feet from a school, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, use of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.  Almonte has allegedly failed to appear in court for many of these charges.
