Call it a sign of the times, but yet another local area Restaurant has closed after doing business in Ridgefield for 20 years.

If you were looking for a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine in Ridgefield, then you probably made a stop at Wild Ginger. The restaurant has been a fixture on Main Street and a favorite in the area for the past two decades. Well, according to newstimes.com, on Monday, the Restaurant shut down after its lease had expired. People who stopped by were greeted by a sign posted on the establishments front door that read:

Lease end closing. Really appreciate your support for two decades. We will always remember this peaceful town and all the lovely, beautiful peoples! May God bless you all.

The Wild Ginger was best known for their oriental cuisine, which included a full menu of gluten-free and vegan dishes, plus some of the best New York Cheesecake in the area.

The News Times also reported that the owners of the Restaurant could not be reached for comment on why they shut down with little or no notice to the community.
