It just keeps going up and up. The number was already at a historical high, but it continues to climb. I'm talking, of course, about Powerball.

According to NBC Connecticut, Wednesday's jackpot was for $500 million and since then it has been going up, hitting historic highs. On Thursday it was at $700 million and by Friday morning it hit the $800 million mark. This is the biggest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.

Powerball.com says that the cash value of the estimated jackpot is $496 million dollars before taxes. Not too bad.
