Putnam County Pizza Dominates the Polls

The results are in, and two Putnam County pizza restaurants placed first, and second in the voting for the area's best pizza.

The public has spoken. With thousands of votes cast, two Putnam County pizzerias were voted the best in our area.

Mike and Joe's Wood Fired Pizza in Mahopac came in first with over 64% of the vote, followed by a write-in candidate, Portofino's Pizza and Pasta in Brewster, with over 34% of the vote.

Florina's Woodburning Pizza in Fishkill placed third, Frank Pepe Pizza in Danbury came in forth, and Augie's Numero #1 in Danbury, Prato Trattoria in Carmel and Famous Pizza in Bethel were all tied for fifth.

Thanks to everyone who voted, and congratulations again to Mike and Joe's Pizza in Mahopac. For this day, this time and this vote, they are "The Best Pizza in the Area".
