Radio Studio in Brookfield Transforms Again
I know you've heard us talk about the Kicks Studio decorations on the air. Well, the phantom decorator has struck again.
As the seasons change, and the Holidays come and go, the Kicks on-air studio has gone through a number of redecorating transformations. Now, as we get well into the summer season, the phantom decorator (Ahem...Linda G.) has redecorated again.
When we walked into the studio this morning, we were greeted with something that I guess is suppose to represent summer, but actually looks like a scene out of a bad Johnny Depp movie.
There were hanging inflatable pink flamingos, palm trees, summer signs, and drink umbrellas everywhere.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It takes a lot of work, and is kind of a nice touch, but will the madness ever stop? Each time there's a change, it keeps getting more and more bizarre. I think the hanging pink flamingos did me in. They were freaking us out.
I understand the motive. The workplace should be a happy place, and yes, you're right. It should, but with each passing season and holiday, I'm getting more and more afraid of what's to come next. Hey, we're only three months away from Halloween. I'm sure director, Tim Burton, would be so proud. Thanks, Linda G.
