Locally Famous Ice Cream Heads to ‘Downtown’ Brookfield
If you live in the area, there's a good chance that you have spent a few warm summer nights in line waiting for the amazing Ice Cream at Rich Farm in Oxford.
The Rich family has been selling some of the best ice cream in the area on their dairy farm since 1994. The ice cream shop was opened by Dave and his wife Dawn, along with their children, to enhance their already existing dairy farm, and Rich Farm is always ranked among the Top 10 ice cream shops in Connecticut every year.
The only problem with the Rich Farm experience is that if you live in the Greater Danbury area, you would have to drive into Oxford for their ice cream. Well that's all about to change, as Rich Farm is opening another location in Downtown Brookfield.
The new ice cream shop, which is Connecticut's very first Rich Farm Ice Cream franchise, is opening on Monday, May 14 in the newly renovated downtown area at the "Four Corners" in Brookfield. You'll find them just behind the Mobil station across from the Car Wash.
Now that great tasting ice cream that's made fresh daily will be just a hop, skip and jump away. The only thing that's going to be missing will be the cows.
