The popularity of Craft Beer has reached an all time high, and we're seeing Breweries pop up in towns all across Connecticut and New York.

For the first time ever, there's a new Brewery in Ridgefield. It's called Nod Hill Brewery, and it's opening this weekend.

According to patch.com, it's been in the works for the last year and finally, it's time for Ridgefield to experience the Craft Beer craze. The brewery will be open until 9 pm this Saturday, October 28th, and will be serving seven different types of craft beers. Nod Hill will also be open Sunday, the 29th, from noon to 5 pm.

This weekend, you can sample pale ale, IPA, double IPA, Porter and
Trappist-inspired single and double ales. Plus, you can't drink on an empty stomach, so Ridgefield's own Hoodoo Brown will be there to offer authentic Texas barbecue for sale on-site from 1 pm to 6 pm.

In a press release direct from Nod Hill, here are their official hours after this weekend's grand opening:

Following the opening weekend, regular hours will be Thursday from 4 pm-8 pm, Friday 12 pm-8 pm, Saturday 12 pm-9 pm and Sunday 12 pm-5pm. The brewery is located at 137 Ethan Allen Hwy (Rt 7) in Ridgefield, about 1/4 mile north of the Branchville train station. More info can be found at www.nodhillbrewery.com
