Don't panic if you see a SWAT team near Western Connecticut State University's mid-town campus in Danbury on Thursday. Plus, get ready for some traffic delays.

According to patch.com, members of the Danbury and Western Connecticut State University police departments will be conducting a training exercise on Thursday, Feb. 11 that will not only look kind of scary, but will affect traffic on Eighth Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The exercise will mainly take place at Litchfield Hall on the WCSU Midtown campus. Traffic will be affected on Eighth Avenue and will be restricted to residents only.

Police officers from the Danbury Police Department, and members of the Danbury SWAT team will participate in the training.

So, if you're in that part of Danbury on Thursday, there's nothing serious going on. Just a training exercise.
