This week Roger is our featured pet, and being a herding dog, he knows a thing or two about keeping everyone in line.

Roger is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd who likes to be where the action is. He would make a great hiking/biking buddy, but being a herding breed he will sometimes act on his instincts, so he would probably do best in a adult home with no small children because he'll actually do what comes naturally and that's start herding them.

Remember, we always say when you adopt the dog, you adopt the breed.

Roger is so loving and eager to please, he loves car rides, and has had all his vaccinations, plus he's even neutered. Some leash and obedience training is recommended, but not essential.

Keep in mind the Animal Welfare Society is undergoing construction to serve you and the animals better, so just them call before you go.
