See How a Danbury Hotel Was Transformed Into a Wondrous ‘Night at the North Pole’

A Night at the North Pole brought families and our favorite holiday characters together at Crowne Plaza Danbury on December 10th. Special guests included reindeer, elves, Frosty the Snowman, Cindy Lou Who with The Grinch, and even Santa Claus! Some families dressed up in their pajamas and festive holiday attire. Crowne Plaza Danbury's Christmas decorations were decorated beautifully in the lobby and fourth floor, where our special guests spent the night and swam in the pool.

Christmas music was heard as activities took place from 6pm-10pm. Our staff and vendors worked the arts and crafts tables, where kids made stockings, Santa beards made of cotton balls, decorated cookies, and winter themed face painting.

I worked the games section handing out stickers based on how the kids scored. Their buffet served a delicious variety of food and cool beverages.The Santa Cineplex room was a huge hit, as families sat comfortably on big bean bags watching traditional Christmas cartoons and holiday movies.
