UPDATE: wfsb.com has reported that Roy has been found and reunited with his family. They've also said that the original reported date that the child was missing (September 27) was infact an erroroneous report from the CT State Police. The actual date is said to be yesterday, October 4. No other information has been released at this time.


 

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 9-year-old boy from New Milford, who's been missing since Wednesday, September 27.

Police say that the missing boy, Roy Bilbruck (pictured above), has brown eyes and brown hair. While the silver alert was issued late last night (October 4), no further information about Roy Bilbruck has been provided, including what the 9-year-old may be wearing.

According to 211ct.org, a Silver Alert is issued when either an elderly person age 65 or older or someone who may be mentally impaired goes missing. The law mandates that law enforcement officials must begin their search immediately once the alert is issued.
