St. Patrick’s Day Is Sunday in Danbury

St.Patrick's Day may be Thursday, but this Sunday the celebration continues in Danbury.

If you're Irish you don't want to see St. Patty's Day end. Well, in Danbury the celebration will continue through Sunday with the annual Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade.

According to patch.com the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held this year on Sunday, March 20, 2016. The parade steps off at 3 p.m. at Center and Main Street, Danbury in front of St. Peter Church.

Here is the official schedule of events for this Sunday in Danbury:

• 3 p.m. St. Patrick's Day parade begins in front of St. Peter Church, Main and Center Streets
• 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Chicks n' Sync at the Greater Danbury irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Ave., Danbury
• 4 p.m. Gray School of Irish Dance, greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center
• 6 - 9 p.m. Steve O'Tree, performing at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center
