Update–Steal a Base, Steal a Taco Back at Danbury Taco Bells

Now that we know that the Boston Red Sox and the LA Dodgers will be playing in the World Series, we get some really good news according to USA Today. Taco Bell’s really popular promotion: Steal a Base, Steal a Taco is coming back for the series. This is an excellent reason to watch the World Series whether you’re a fan or not: free food. Taco Bell is planning to run the promotion November 1, 2 to 6 PM at participating locations (subject to change, while supplies last).

Here’s how it works. If or when a player steals a base during the series, Taco Bell restaurants will give out free Doritos Locos tacos. A Rep for Taco Bell said:

Every year, we’re overwhelmed with the excitement from our fans when combining America’s favorite pastime with America’s favorite tacos ..,Now, we’re knocking that out of the park by introducing even more ways for our fans to experience and commemorate the Taco Hero.

The World Series starts Tuesday, October 23rd in Boston. The series could be over as early as Saturday, October 27, or as late as Halloween, Wednesday October 31st. I say play ball, and may the best team steal some bases!
