Taylor Swift turned to Instagram Live on Thursday (June 13) to announce her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Lover.

Lover is set for release on Aug. 23, but fans can pre-order and pre-save the album now. The album will have four separate deluxe editions available at Target. Each deluxe edition will feature one of four unique books, along with two audio tracks of Swift creating two of the songs from the album. iTunes and streaming services also debuted her album artwork, which features Swift looking down with a heart around her eye against the backdrop of a pastel-toned sky.

The album's release date has a significant meaning.

"August is the eighth month of the year, and 23, two plus three, add it all together... equals I'm obnoxious," Swift jokes. "If you want to remember, 'Oh, it adds up to thirteen.'" The album will feature 18 tracks, the most she's ever included on a studio album. She says the tone of the project is "very romantic."

Swift also announced her next single, "You Need To Calm Down," which debuts Thursday night at midnight EST.

"I'm so excited for you to hear it," Swift tells her Instagram audience. The music video for the next single will debut on Good Morning America on June 17 and will be available via YouTube immediately following the reveal. Swift says she wanted to release the video after the single because "there's a lot going on in the video, so I wanted that to be a separate discovery."

That's not all! Stella McCartney will be collaborating with Swift.

"She's been a friend for a really long time and a woman I respect so much," Swift says. So far, there are no further details about what's assumed to be an upcoming clothing line.

Swift released "ME!" earlier this spring as the lead single from her upcoming seventh studio album. The song features Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.
