The Arlington Admirals Marching Band Win NYS Championship (Again)
Dubbed New York's Best Marching Band by the Mr. Morning and Suzy Country Nation, garnering the most votes, the Arlington Admirals, did it again.
This past Sunday, they won the 2017 New York State Field Band Conference Championship for a second year in a row! The band took the Governor’s Cup trophy home again from Syracuse at the Carrier Dome, where more than 50 bands from all over the state went head to head for the title at the State Championships. This happened as band is celebrating 50 years of success, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
When we spoke with the band’s director, Darrell Keech here on the show, he had amazing things to say about the kids’ dedication to the program. Congrats go out to everyone for a great job leading to Arlington’s big win! The Mr. Morning and Suzy Country Nation is super proud. Check out this video of Arlington’s win last year in Syracuse:
