100 people surveyed, top 5 answers are on the board. Name one of your favorite game shows of all time.

That answer, for me, would have to be Family Feud. Let's see, "The survey says (bing) it's the number one answer!"

When most people think of Family Feud, they think of Steve Harvey, but I'm a little more old school. I like the job Steve does on the show, however, if you're a connoisseur of game shows, then Family Feud and Richard Dawson go hand in hand.

All the different hosts aside, the show itself has a certain style and flare, if you will. Two families and fun questions that, when you're watching, seem so easy. And then, there's "fast money" -- it doesn't get much better than that.

Earlier this month, there was a question during the "fast money" round that may have some folks in Connecticut a little upset. Check out the video to see why:

Look, I'm sure they didn't 'diss Connecticut on purpose. The show is actually taped in Los Angeles again, having switched locations from Atlanta, so I'm sure most of the surveys are taken in California, and let's face it, if I lived there and someone asked me that question, I may not have said Connecticut either. I may have said Massachusetts, or Maine, South Carolina, even Florida. Those are all east coast states that tons of people visit each year. I even did a Google search with the same question that Steve Harvey asked, and here's what came up:

  • Virginia
  • Maryland
  • Rhode Island
  • Vermont
  • Massachusetts
  • South Carolina

So for now, at least during that one episode, Connecticut didn't get much love, but don't blame the show, its producers or Steve Harvey. Point the blame at the people who answered the survey question. Obviously, they don't realize all that Connecticut has to offer.
