The Eagle Flyer leaves the station on February 16. Will you be on board?

You may be familiar with the legendary Essex Steam Train and Riverboat Company. During selected dates in February, the Eagle Flyer sets out on a 2 1/2 hour excursion through the beautiful Connecticut River Valley powered by the Essex's vintage diesel engines which departs from the Essex station. Our grandson Bradley, who is fascinated by trains rode the Essex steam train with his mom and dad and absolutely loved it!

The vintage rail cars are comfortable and toasty warm and offer cash/credit card food and beverage service as it chugs along through the Connecticut River Valley giving you a chance to observe the wildlife that calls the river valley their home. Master Wildlife Conservationists are onboard to share their knowledge of everything you might see. The large windows make it easier to spot eagles, red-tailed hawks, and harbor seals.
