There is nothing better than a good ol' fashioned cheeseburger after a long day at the office, right?  Of course, there have always been the burger wars over the years between the Big Mac and the Whopper...You might even fight about it during the big game coming up in a few weeks about who makes the best cheeseburger. But who was the one who really started it all?  Or more importantly, who was the most influential to the burger market?

Well according to a new survey, it looks like White Castle's "Slider" made it to the top spot as the most influential burger of all time!  This famous recipe dates all the way back to 1921 where the chain began preparing the burger in Kansas. The name White Castle comes from the combination of White, meaning clean, and Castle, meaning strength!

So next time you have one of those unbeatable cravings for a cheeseburger, and feel like being nostalgic about it, the good ol' slider might come to mind! ... Mmmmm so delicious, you can just feel your arteries getting clogged minute by minute!
