Today Is International Talk Like a Pirate Day

Aye Matey, shiver me timbers, today it's time for everyone at some point to talk like a pirate. Why ? Hey why not.

Once a year on September 19th it's time to let out your inner pirate, you know the one you keep hidden for the other 364 days. It's the one day when all the rules are lifted and you actually get a chance to talk like a pirate.

But how, or should I say why do we celebrate this kinda wacky day, and when did it start. Well according to wikipedia.com, International Talk Like a Pirate Day  is a holiday created in 1995 by John Baur and Mark Summers of Albany, Oregon. They are the ones who proclaimed September 19 each year as the day when everyone in the world should talk like a pirate.
