Traffic Delays This Week on Route 35 in Ridgefield
Yeah, I know you hate traffic. So, let me help you out a bit. If you drive on Route 35 in Ridgefield the construction plans for the bridge on Route 35 have changed a bit. TheRidgefieldPress.com reports that things may get a little congested in that area this week.
The portion of Route 35 right near Fox Hill condos is undergoing some structural rehab. Originally, The Department of Transportation planned to have a one-way alternate lane system in place last Wednesday, April 4, through last Friday, April 6 but that all shifted (see what I did there) to this week.
Starting today and going through the end of this week, which is ironically Friday the thirteenth, you can expect those one-way alternating lanes of traffic. This is all contingent on the weather, of course. The Department of Transportation hopes to have this project finished by May.
Let's just hope that Mother Nature loves Ridgefield and is also on board with this project.
