Two more youths have been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of 18-year-old, Gabriel Bara-Bardo, which occurred earlier this month.

According to a press release from the Danbury Police Department, a male juvenile and a female juvenile, both with active warrants, turned themselves in at separate times yesterday (August 30). While it is unclear as to exactly what role these two had in the murder, they have each been charged with robbery, larceny, criminal liability, and conspiracy to commit robbery and larceny. The female was also charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving. As of this report, neither of these particular young people have been charged with the murder directly.

As previously reported, two other teenagers from Danbury, ages 15 and 16, have been arrested and charged with the murder of 18-year-old, Gabriel Bara-Bardo.

The details that have been released so far say that a slew of officers responded to a complaint at around 5:45 PM on Saturday, August 5, in which suspicious activity was reported on Abbott Street.

When they arrived, officers found 18-year-old, Gabriel Bara-Bardo of Danbury, alone and unconscious in the street next to his car. Bara-Bardo never regained consciousness and the medical examiner ruled the cause of his passing as complications following blunt impact to the head and neck. It was also determined that he was murdered.

Through a thorough investigation, Danbury detectives say that they were able to determine that the aforementioned teens were involved in Bara-Bardo's homicide, resulting in warrants for their arrest. One teen was taken into custody on August 16 on Wilson Street in Danbury, while the other was already in custody on unrelated charges.

The 15-year-old and the 16-year-old, whose names and photos have been withheld from this article at the discretion of the author, have been charged with felony murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit murder among other charges. All four of the people charged are currently being held at Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.
