UPDATE: Great news to share this afternoon, as the dog who went missing out in the cold in Danbury Sunday night (December 1) has been returned to her owner.

Here's what Danbury Animal Control had to say in their updated social media post :

A cry for help has been put out, as a local dog has been lost out in the nasty weather.

According to Danbury Animal Control, a black and white female mix (pictured above)
ran away from the area of North Street Shopping Center on Sunday night, December 1.

The poor thing was last seen on Clapboard Ridge Road by Ventura Avenue. She was wearing a harness with tags and dragging her leash.

Authorities ask that if you see her, please do not chase her, because she is likely to run away.

In the event that you do see the missing pup, please call owner
Scott at 203-241-3602, or message Danbury Animal Control.
