A new restaurant will be opening its doors very soon on Pembroke Road in Danbury. The Cue, which bills itself as an upscale BBQ joint, is finally ready to jump in the smoked meats business.

The new restaurant will occupy the building that the now-defunct Tavern on 37 stood. They permanently closed late last Summer.

The Cue Danbury's Facebook page has been updated regularly over the past three months with photos of the progress going on inside the establishment.

They've completely remodeled the interior of the place and put in a beautiful new kitchen, plus a 22-foot smoker, adorned with a cute, big pig face!

Although the official menu has not been released yet, reading through some of the answers to comments on their Facebook page is telling.

Obviously, the main draw will be your standard BBQ fare, including ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket, etc. What caught my eye though was a claim that they'll be serving up a stuffed turkey leg, nice!

The greater Danbury BBQ scene already has some heavy hitters with The Cookhouse, Hoodoo Brown, Northern Smoke, and Al's Cookout, among many others, slinging the swine. Good luck, Cue Danbury! I can't wait to sample your culinary delights.
