Election Day is fast approaching and if you are planning to vote (which I hope you are!) then you should make sure you are on the list.

According to NBC Connecticut, today (October 27) is the last day to register by mail or by visiting your local registrar office. You have until 8 p.m. tonight. The deadline to register on line has passed.

If you need an absentee ballot they are available until November 2. You can get them from the town clerks, but you must be a registered voter. They will have Election Day Registration for eligible citizens who want to cast a ballot, but missed the deadline. However, it's always easier to take care of registering before Election Day.

If you are not sure if you are registered you can check on Denise Merrill's website, she is the Connecticut Secretary of the State.

Don't forget vote on Election Day!
