A Connecticut woman hiding out in the Hudson Valley was found by police after a car allegedly made a turn without signaling.

Recently, a Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy noticed a car on Route 22 in the Town of Southeast allegedly make a turn into the Heidi’s Inn parking lot without signaling. During the traffic stop, the deputy learned that the driver, 56-year-old Phillip J. Nichols, had a suspended driver’s license and the passenger, 42-year-old Dawn Anne Gonzalez, had a warrant out of Danbury, CT issued by the Connecticut State Superior Court.

Gonzalez was wanted by Danbury police on two counts of larceny, police say.

Gonzalez was arraigned on the fugitive warrant in Putnam County Court and was remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility.
