Have you ever witnessed an unidentified flying object?

According syti.net, on May 15, 1963, Mercury Astronaut Major Gordon Cooper informed the tracking station at Muchea, Australia that he could see a glowing greenish object outside his space capsule as he was finishing his 22nd and final orbit of the earth and that the object was quickly approaching. Cooper swore it was real. In fact, the tracking station picked it up on their radar. When his capsule landed, reporters were ordered NOT to ask Major Cooper about the UFO sighting.

In all, 13 NASA Astronauts have claimed they've seen UFOs during space flight. Scott Carpenter, who was part of the Mercury-Atlas 7 mission in May of 1962, claimed:

At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by UFOs.

Whether you're a skeptic or believe in UFOs, you may want to consider attending the Western Connecticut UFO Conference on Saturday, October 14, at the Danbury Public Library from 10 am to 5 pm. Behind the Paranormal radio hosts, Paul and Ben Eno, will talk about the "Litchfield Triangle." Other guest speakers will talk about UFOs of the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut, and the effects of contact with UFOs.

Are there others among us?
