The big question as we go through Spring and head into Memorial Day Weekend always revolves around how high gas prices will be.

As of right now, it looks like we could be seeing a much more affordable summer for those looking to take long road trips!

According to The Ledger, we could be seeing the cheapest gas prices in six summers! The average gas price is expected to fall 30 percent from a year ago, as we get closer to the summer months. Some even say that prices could fall down below $2 a gallon at some point.

The lower gas prices are thanks to increased production here in the United States, giving us a larger supply of oil than we need at this time. How about those people who are against us making our own oil? .. Yeah, crazy people.

The Ledger also expects Americans to consume more fuel this summer than last year by a slight increase.

With all this being said, LET'S FILL UP THOSE TRUCKS, and let's get ready for some road trips!!
