He almost found that forever home twice, he was so close, but unfortunately the people who put him on hold never came back to get him, so he's still at the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford, and he's hoping the third time will be a charm.

His name is Scamper, he's about six months old and is a Hound Dog Mix who was rescued from a shelter down south.

He's got a lot of puppy energy, and loves to play, and especially fetch. If you have a tennis ball, he'll be your best friend forever.

He would probably be best in a home where he can get some of that energy out, maybe run in a yard, or if your into walks, or need a jogging buddy, he would love that too.

With the Holiday season coming, and you start thinking about food donations,don't forget about the Animal Welfare Society. Yes they need food for the animals, but they also need other things like cleaning supplies, wipes, garbage bags, and paper towels.
