Women’s Tackle Football Coming to Carmel with Open Tryouts Scheduled

Hey ladies, ever dream about playing real tackle football?

Your chance to play with 'The Reapers,' Carmel NY's all-women tackle football team is holding open tryouts on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 pm at 790 Long Pond Road in Carmel according to the Danbury Daily Voice. Football experience is not necessary and all different body types are welcome to try out for the team.

If you're 18 or older, all you need to bring are cleats or sneakers along with identification. According to 'The Reapers' GoFundMe page, women's tackle football promotes self-confidence, endurance, and perseverance.

The team is part of a National league where travel will be required. This is the real deal.
