New Milford Dogs That Need Forever Homes

Every Monday Morning at 7:20 AM, we feature a Pet of the Week from the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford. This week, we re-cap the last month or so to fill you in on what pets are still available.

FREIDA is a Terrier mix who came to the Shelter when no one claimed her from the Pound. About 4-years-old and a typical Terrier, lively and interested in everything. She is waiting to start her new life with an active family.

TEQUILA is a sweet little boy who is 12-years-old, but can be quite lively when he chooses. He also enjoys walks and being loved. He wound up at the Animal welfare Society when his long-time owner could not care for him anymore. Now, he's looking for a new forever home.

ZOEY is a Chow mix, and about 7 or 8-years-old. An independent girl, who would make a great addition to any family. She’s not a big fan of other dogs, so she’d be better alone. She does enjoy going for walks, and would love to be part of a family again.

HALO was our featured pet back in November of 2015. She was such a happy playful dog that we couldn't understand why she hadn't found her forever home.

After waiting for months and many inquiries about her, Halo has finally found the right match and was adopted. We couldn't be happier that she has now found her forever home.
