Clown With Stun Gun Chases Kids in New York Park
For whatever odd reason in the later part of 2016, America (and even other parts of the world) was inundated with bizarre reports of clown sightings.
No one was ever really sure why this all happened. Some have speculated that it may have, in part, been some sort coordinated stunt for upcoming films; such as Stephen King's It or Rob Zombie's 31.
Was it some form of societal snow ball effect? Or mass hysteria? Or maybe people are just dumb? Regardless, the weird phenomenon certainly had the country's attention two years ago.
After an investigation, police say the incident happened Monday at John Burns Park in Massapequa. Police say the 17 year-old suspect, allegedly chased several kids with a stun gun while wearing dressed as a clown.
Police arrested the suspected Bozo Tuesday. The 17 year-old is charged with five counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to ABC. No one was hurt, however it's safe to safe that at least a few of those kids will be having nightmares for a while.
Is this the start of something much bigger....or maybe just stupider
