It looks like the chances of another casino resort being built in the state of CT could come true in the coming years.

According to the CT Post, it looks like Gov Malloy signed a bill into law that would create a process to allow more casinos to be built in the state. Molly says he signed a bill allowing Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan tribes to issue a request to possibly have some new properties built.

This comes after the news that MGM is planning to built a resort casino in nearby Springfield, Mass. Some of these groups say a new casino being built along Interstate 91 north of Hartford would help compete with this new planned casino, reported by the CT Post.

I'm all for another casino opening as I absolutely love going to Mohegan Sun to see concerts, gamble, and to pig out at the buffets!  I just wish some of them were closer to the Western side of the state.  I can only wish ...
