From the end of October thru November 8th Girl Scout Troops throughout Connecticut took part in the "Cookies for Heroes Project"

Over the last few weeks Girl Scouts across the state were at polling stations during election day and other area locations selling Girl Scout cookies.

According to Danbury Daily Voice, many of the Girl Scout Troops also offered customers the opportunity to participate in the Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Gift of Caring project, "Cookies for Heroes." The program gives customers the chance to say “thank you” to local heroes, veterans and active duty members of the military with a box of Girl Scout cookies.
