My New Summer Project Obsession – Perogola and Fire Pit Seating

The warm weather is finally here and I'm looking to spend as much time outside as I can. Plus, my husband and I love to entertain. So we are always looking for ways to make the yard inviting and fun for us and for our friends.

We spent a lot of time outside over the weekend. We had friends over and the kids ran around outside while the grownups sat, talked and grilled. It was a great weekend!

After we finished our burgers and hot dogs, my husband got the fire pit going. We put a fire pit in our backyard a few years ago and we are always ready for a fire pit night!

So we grabbed some marshmallows and hung out by the fire for a little while. It was the perfect way to end a great day.

We have a bunch of chairs around the fire pit for people to use, but yesterday I found the perfect setup. I told my husband we have to have a fire pit seating improvement party and everyone can help build this thing.

It will look something like this:

It is a big, open structure with six benches hanging from it and six Adirondack chairs placed a little closer to the fire pit. There is even a space to put an outdoor screen! This thing is amazing and it is now on my list of summer projects. I don't know that it will ever happen, but a girl can dream!
