Supernatural Stars Doing Some Good With Their Fame

It was originally started by Supernatural star Jared Padalecki to help those suffering from depression. He has had some personal experience with the subject, which he talks about in an article from Variety. His on-screen brother and real life good friend Jensen Ackles has since come on board to help with the campaign.

What they have done is start a T-shirt campaign to raise money for an organization that helps those who suffer from depression and they have also given money raised to other charities that are helping to make the world a better place.

This is the kind of thing I can definitely get behind and I bought my shirt this morning. You never know who is silently going through something that they may not think they can overcome. I think it's great when celebrities use their fame for a good cause and that is what they are doing. Their co-star, Misha Collins, also has a charity called Random Acts that they have given to with some of the money raised.

I already love the show Supernatural, the actors are great together and you can tell they are friends off set, but I love the show even more now. This is the second campaign they have done together and there is always a winner after the campaign ends. Two people even got phone calls from Jared and Jensen (I would have passed out, lol)!

You can see the latest campaign in the video below. These guys are awesome and seriously rock. The fact that they care enough about people they don't know to put their names on this campaign and use their fame for something so good, it speaks volumes for them as people. Much respect.

Plus, the T-shirts have the names Moose & Squirrel on them, nicknames given to the characters of Sam and Dean by the lovable demon Crowley.

Now I just have to hope that Netflix gets Supernatural season 10 before the next season starts!
