He may dress like a retro rock star, but Frankie Ballard is anything but Retro. He's part of the up and coming new generation of Country Music.

If anyone had any doubt about what Frankie Ballard can do, he put those thoughts to rest at this year's Taste of Country Music Festival.

All through his set on Saturday (June 11), the singer belted out all his hits, as well as some songs off of his brand-new album, El Rio, and songs from some of his influences.

Frankie Ballard fan's got a fill of hits like "Young & Crazy,” “Drinky Drink”, “Cigarette,” and  “Sunshine & Whiskey”. His newest single, “It All Started With a Beer,” turned into a massive singalong. Frankie also demonstrated that he's one heck of a guitar player during a blues-y jam session during his set. He also paid tribute to some of his musical influences like Elvis Presley.

Frankie also told Kicks 105.5 that this was the first time he's ever been to a ski slope in the summer, but the fans were sure glad he came. Check out some of the photos of Frankie here:
