Watch Kenny Chesney and Billy Joel Duet in Pittsburgh
What happens when both Kenny Chesney and Billy Joel have concerts scheduled in Pittsburgh on the same weekend? A collaboration, of course! The crowd gathered to see Joel on Friday night (July 1) at PNC Park got to see "the Piano Man" and the country superstar perform one of Joel's biggest hits together.
Readers can press play on the video above to watch Joel and Chesney sing "You May Be Right." The two split the verses of Joel's 1980 hit and harmonized on its chorus. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Chesney's appearance came near the very end of Joel's two-hour show, and that, as readers can see in the video, as Joel began the song, Chesney bowed to him, saying, "We're not worthy!"
Chesney performed in Pittsburgh on Saturday night (July 2), with Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion, at Heinz Field. The show made headlines, as 37 fans were hospitalized due to intoxication and / or dehydration and several others were arrested and / or received citations for various offenses; concertogers also left behind a large amount of garbage. However, city officials were "very pleased" with how things went, especially in light of the even-higher number of arrests and other incidents, as well as the garbage left behind, at Chesney's show at the same venue in 2013.
