What Do You Think is the Favorite Food in Connecticut and New York?

The Cooking Channel TV recently surveyed fans asking what their favorite food to represent their state is.

According to the News-Times, Connecticut's favorite food is clam pizza. I'm not sure I agree with the representation for Connecticut ... clam pizza?

I love pizza as much as the next person, but I've never been a huge fan of clams on my pizza. New York's food representation is Buffalo wings and that makes sense to me. I just don't get the clam pizza for Connecticut. Why not hamburgers?

This is a pretty good looking list and it's making me hungry. It's fun to go through and see representations for every state. Having a friend who just moved out to Nebraska, I get the meat pie thing now. Not sure I would enjoy it, but I get it.

What do you think? Do the food choices for each state make sense?

On a side note, looking at the Kansas City-Style Ribs is making me hungry for barbacue!
