Country Star Keith Anderson is coming to our Harvest Jam 2015 at the Ives Concert Park in Danbury on October 10th. Here's some things you should know about him.

Keith Anderson was born on January 12th, 1968 in Miami, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school, he attended Oklahoma State University where he got a degree in engeineering. He also played baseball during his college years, and was approached by the Kansas City Royals. After a shoulder injury ended his baseball career, Anderson tried body building and placed second in the Mr. Oklahoma competition.

After graduating, he accepted a position with an engineering firm in Dallas, Texas. A year and a half later, he resigned to pursue a career in music. He attended clubs at night, began writing songs, and began learning guitar from his brother, Brian.

Before signing to a record deal, Anderson was one of several co-writers on "Beer Run (B Double E Double Are You In?)", a duet by Garth Brooks and George Jones, released in late 2001. Anderson was signed as a recording artist in 2004. His debut single "Pickin Wildflowers" was released that year, as the lead track from his debut album Three Cord Country, and American Rock and Roll.

The album produced a total of four hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Charts, including "Every time I Hear Your Name", and "XXL" and was certified gold by the RIAA.

Anderson switched record labels in 2008. His first single for his new label, "I Still Miss You", was released that same year and became his third Top Ten hit. It was the lead single from his second album C'Mon !, released in August 2008.

Keith married his long time sweetheart Lauren Woodruff in December 2010, after ten years of dating. They welcomed a daughter, Crozle J. Anderson, on October 5, 2011.
