Last Friday night at the Ridgefield Playhouse, regions collided as North met South, but could the clash actually produce a "Country Moment?"

It's not too often that you can take a singer from the North, and have them share the stage with a country singer from the South and get a "moment". Well, those who were at the Phil Vassar show on Friday night at the Ridgefield Playhouse witnessed North meeting South, head to head, toe to toe.

Jessica Lynn (from Yorktown, NY) opened for Phil Vassar (from Nashville, TN) at the playhouse.

Now, you know we love the Vassar. He always gives the audience one heck of a show, performing non stop for almost 2 hours, cranking out hit after hit, and giving the crowd just what they came for.

Another good friend of Kicks 105.5, Jessica Lynn, opened the show, and is always so energetic. You can tell she loves to perform, and sing her songs. There's such an innocent, fresh quality about her and her band, which is made up of family members and her fiance, Steve. They do what they do, and they do it very well.

But, on this given Friday night, the crowd received a special treat, as North met South face to face. Phil called Jessica back out to join him for the Vassar penned classic, "I'm Alright." Two of our good friends came together with nothing but the music in mind, and, yes, it worked, and, yes, it was definitely a "Country Moment".

By the way, the moment was made even that much more magical because Jessica was living out a life long dream to sing with one of her country music idols from the South. Her dream not only came true, but did so in the North in front of her hometown fans.
