Signs That Spring is Really Here!

Spring is slowly making an appearance, and I'm starting to see reassuring signs that it is actually here.

This morning I had to run to the grocery store and noticed that the store had put up their flower display outside! I love when I see this every year, because once I see that display it's officially spring, at least to me.

My second sign that spring is actually here? The Creamery in Newtown has put up their sign telling everyone when their opening day is! This is a big sign (figuratively and literally), because ice cream means warm weather. In case you are wondering, the sign says April 7 is their opening day.

The final sign that spring has arrived is that we actually saw our neighbors yesterday. It's been so cold that no one in the neighborhood would be outside longer than it took to clear the driveway or get from the house to the car.

I found out one of my neighbors has lost 30 lbs (go Maria!) and our other neighbors are getting married in a couple of months (Congratulations Tiffany and Drew!). So, I guess a lot happened over the winter!
