David Letterman doesn’t look like he’s the fast ‘n furious type, but he certainly is. Even in a state like Montana with it’s forgiving speed limits he’s been known to incur speeding tickets. Well Connecticut’s caught him speeding many times, and he’s such a fan of fast cars that he’s got over a million dollars worth of expensive vehicles stashed by the Danbury Airport according to Autostin.

His collection there contains: over 28 cars, with ten ferraris 8 Porsches, 4 Austin Healeys, two Honda motorcycles, a Chevy pickup truck and one vehicle from each Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, MG, Volvo and Pontiac. The collection was assessed in 2011 at approximately $1.2 million…with: a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS valued at $178,140, a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO valued at $157, 680, a 1963 Ferrari Lusso valued at $154, 380 and a 1974 Ferrari Daytona valued at $95,870. With a collection like this, it’s no wonder Letterman stores his cars and motorcycles at a secluded warehouse in Danbury, CT.

Wikipedia states they’re "in a building adjacent to the Danbury Airport", which would explain why the Jerry Seinfeld show 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' with David was taped here in Danbury.
